Tickpatch

Tickpatch is a simple weave mod that keeps Minecraft's loaded entity list filled so entities can be properly ticked and deleted. This resolves a weird bug on 1.8 lunar with frozen/invisible/vibrating entities.

How to use

You can download/clone+build weave from https://github.com/Weave-MC/Weave-Loader, and follow the documentation to install the loader. Tickpatch should be placed in the weave mods folder. If it's set up properly it should print [tickpatch] loaded in your Minecraft logs.

How to build

Building weave requires JDK 17+. I would just import it as a project in IntelliJ, but obviously you could also install it from a linux package manager or Adoptium.net if you're a Windows user.

From inside the project directory you can then build it with:

./gradlew build

Which builds to ./build/libs/*.jar.
